Flooring Expertise at Your Fingertips
Our team of experienced professionals possesses immense knowledge and technical expertise in all aspects of hardwood flooring. From classic installations to intricate refinishing projects and innovative repair and restoration work, we handle it all. We utilize only the highest quality materials and adhere to meticulous installation and finishing techniques to ensure exceptional results.

Site-Finished or Prefinished? We Install Both
Site-finished hardwood is sanded and finished in your home after installation, producing a smooth, monolithic surface with no beveled edges and a fully custom stain color. It's the premium route — and the one we recommend when matching new hardwood to existing floors.
Prefinished hardwood arrives with a factory-cured finish: faster installation, no dust or fumes, and floors you can walk on the same day. Factory finishes are also exceptionally durable.
There's no wrong answer — it comes down to timeline, whether you're matching existing floors, and the look you want. We'll lay out the tradeoffs at your estimate.
Our Hardwood Floor Installation Process
1. Free In-Home Estimate — We measure your space, discuss species and finish options, and provide a detailed written quote. No pressure, no obligation.
2. Moisture Testing & Subfloor Prep — Georgia humidity makes this step non-negotiable. We test both subfloor and wood moisture content, then level, repair, or prepare the subfloor as needed — including over concrete slabs.
3. Acclimation — Your hardwood rests in your home for several days to adjust to its temperature and humidity before a single board goes down. Skipping this step is the #1 cause of gapping and cupping — we never do.
4. Installation — Our experienced crews install your floors with meticulous attention to layout, board selection, and transitions to adjoining rooms and staircases.
5. Finishing & Final Walkthrough — For site-finished floors, we sand, stain, and apply premium finishes from brands like Bona and DuraSeal. Every project ends with a walkthrough to make sure you love the result.

What Affects Hardwood Floor Installation Cost?
Every project is different, which is why we quote per-project rather than publishing flat rates. The main factors: square footage, species and grade, solid vs. engineered construction, subfloor condition and prep, site-finished vs. prefinished, and details like stair work, borders, or herringbone patterns. Removal and disposal of existing flooring also plays a role. The fastest way to get a real number for your home is a free estimate — most take under an hour.
