Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 4, 2026

Seta Hardwood Flooring, Inc. ("Seta Hardwood Flooring," "we," "us," or "our") encourages our customers, suppliers, visitors, business associates, and other interested parties to read this Privacy Policy (the "Policy"). This Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and shared when you visit setahardwoodflooring.com (the "Website"), request an estimate, book a consultation, or submit a form.

We do not use a cookie consent banner. Instead, this Policy tells you plainly what is collected and gives you working ways to opt out. Those controls are described in Your Choices below.

Information We Collect

Device and Activity Information

When you visit the Website, we automatically collect information about you and your device, including your IP address, approximate geographic location, browser type and version, operating system, time zone, referring website or search terms, the pages you view, your navigation path through the site, and the frequency and pattern of your visits.

We also collect information about how you interact with pages — where you move your cursor, what you click, how far you scroll, and how long you spend on a page.

Session Recording and Heatmaps

Please read this section carefully, as it describes collection that many visitors do not expect.

We use TWIPLA Website Intelligence, an analytics tool that can create video-style replays of individual visits to the Website and aggregate heatmaps showing where visitors click and scroll. These replays reconstruct your movement through the site — cursor movement, clicks, scrolling, and navigation between pages.

We use this only to find usability problems, such as forms that are confusing or pages that fail on mobile devices. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell or share these recordings.

Session replay tools can, depending on configuration, capture text typed into forms. If you would prefer not to be recorded at all, use the opt-out described in Your Choices below.

Contact and Project Information

When you fill out a form, request an estimate, book a consultation, or contact us, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, street address or project address, email address, phone number, and details about the flooring or staircase project you are considering.

Where we refer to "Personal Information" in this Policy, we mean all of the above together.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • understand the scope and location of a potential project you may hire us for;

  • prepare and send estimates, and schedule consultations and work;

  • communicate with you about your project or inquiry;

  • identify usability problems and improve the Website;

  • screen requests for potential risk or fraud (in particular, your IP address); and

  • measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising.

We may also process your information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Your Choices

You can limit or stop most of the collection described above:

You may also email us at the address below to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

Do Not Track

The Website does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, as there is no common industry standard for them. The opt-outs listed above are the reliable way to limit collection.

Sharing Your Information

We share information with the service providers listed above so they can perform the functions described. We may also share your information with subcontractors or trade partners where necessary to complete work you have requested.

We may disclose your information to comply with applicable law, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to protect our legal rights.

We do not control the retention practices of the third parties listed above. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

Text Messages

If you provide your mobile number and ask us to text you about your project, you can stop at any time by replying STOP. We do not send marketing text messages to people who have not asked for them.

Data Retention

We retain contact and project information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, complete your project, and meet our record-keeping, warranty, tax, and legal obligations. Where no contract was established, we retain inquiry records for a shorter period. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including the security controls provided by our hosting platform. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a breach of security compromises your personal information, we will notify you as required by Georgia's breach notification statute (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-910 et seq.).

Minors

The Website is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Scope

This Policy applies to information collected through the Website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through channels not described here.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above.
